Jeff's Barbecue Sauce
1 small onion
1/2 c chili sauce
1/2 c open pit barbecue sauce
1/2 c brown sugar
1 1/2 T Worcestershire sauce
1/4 t lemon juice
1 T A-1 sauce
Simmer 1 hr
Barbecued Chicken or Spare Ribs
In skillet, brown slowly in 1/2 cup salad oil, on 2 1/2 - 3 lb ready to cook broiler fryer chicken, cut up or spare ribs. Place in 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 in baking dish.
To skillet, add 1/2 cup chopped onion and 1/4 c chopped celery; cook till tender. Add 1/2 cup catsup, 1/3 cup water, 2 Tbs lemon juice, 1 Tbs each of brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, and prepared mustard. Season.
Simmer 15 min, skim off excess fat. Pour sauce over chicken or spare ribs. Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hrs or till done, basting 3 or 4 times.

Peanut Butter Rolls
1 stick Oleo
1 large can condensed milk
2 lb sugar
Mix good.
Shape into square. Place on wax paper. Refrigerate 1/2 hr.
Slice.
Put on peanut butter. Rollup. Slice.

Pina Colada Cake
Bake 1 box white cake mix by directions on box in a 9" x 13" x 2" pan.
After it cools, stick it full of holes with a fork.
Mix 2 can cream of coconut
1 can Eagle Brand Milk
With fork open holes larger and pour over cake, let it soak in.
Put in refrigerator
Mix
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
1 9 oz cool whip
1 c confectioners sugar
Stir and heat until smooth. Pour over cake then cover with shredded coconut.
Keep refrigerated
Susie's Cinnamon Rolls
1/2 c warm water
1 pkg yeast
-Set Aside
In a big bowl mix : 1/2 c boiling water
1/2 c Crisco
1/3 c sugar
1 tsp salt
Cool to lukewarm- add- yeast
3 c plain flour
1 beaten eggLet rise 1 hr.
Roll out and coat with melted butter.
Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon
Roll up like jelly roll and cut into rolls.
Put in pan and let rise 1 hr.
Bake 15-20 min at 400 degrees
Top with Conf. sugar glaze
Light Bread
1 pkg yeast dissolved in warm water
3 c warm water
1 c sugar
1 tsp salt
3 Tbs lard
Thicken with plain flour.
Dissolve yeast in water, add salt, sugar and lard or Crisco (I mash the lard up with a potato masher). Stir in sifted flour (a dab at a time) til thick enough to handle. Divide into 3 dabs. Knead and put into three loaf pans. Let rise 4 or 5 hours (less in hot weather). Bake 325 degrees until brown.

Stack Pie
Stack Pie
10 egg yolks
1 1/2 c brown sugar
1 1/2 c granulated sugar
2 c cream (I use one can evap. milk and finish the 2 cups with milk)
5 Tbs flour
2 Tbs margarine
Mix dry ingred. first so your flour won't lump. Cook on top of stove in saucepan until very thick. Layer in 5 baked pie shells (if you buy frozen don't get deep dish). Top each layer with carmel icing.
